Feed Stations and Nutrition
The organiser’s published event arrangements include food and water at the top of all eight climbs.
Riders can return to the central event area between climbs for additional food and refreshments.
The previous-edition entry package also included a CHF 15 food voucher for use in the main event area.
The 2027 food voucher and feed-station arrangements have not yet been reconfirmed.
Navigation and Route Marking
The organiser provides route guidance through directional arrows and a GPX file.
Because the climbs are out-and-back, riders should expect cyclists travelling in both directions.
The organiser advises riders to anticipate oncoming traffic and avoid cutting corners.
The final 2027 GPX files and route-marking arrangements should be checked when released.
Bike and Equipment Guidance
Gravel bikes: The organiser recommends 45–50 mm tyres and a tubeless setup.
Mountain bikes: Fast-rolling cross-country tyres are recommended.
E-bikes: Participation is permitted under the published event rules, but e-bike riders cannot compete in timed segments.
The organiser also recommends having valid health, travel and liability insurance.
