About La Gravel Tro Breizh
La Gravel Tro Breizh is a fully self-supported, ultra-distance gravel and bikepacking adventure around Brittany in northwestern France. Organised by Erminig, the event takes riders on an extensive journey through one of France’s most distinctive cycling regions.
The 2027 edition takes place from 8–15 May, starting and finishing at Lac de Trémelin near Iffendic. Celebrating its tenth edition, the event offers approximately 1,350 km of riding with around 19,000 m of climbing.
The route explores Brittany’s rugged coastline, forests, historic towns and rural landscapes, combining gravel tracks, trails, quiet roads and more technical off-road sections. The course changes annually, offering a different experience with each edition.
La Gravel Tro Breizh is a non-competitive endurance challenge. Riders must manage their own navigation, mechanical repairs, food, accommodation and rest throughout the journey.
Participants can enter individually or as a duo, with a maximum permitted time of 180 hours — seven days and twelve hours — to complete the course.
The event is designed for experienced endurance riders who are comfortable travelling long distances across varied terrain with limited external support.
