Dorset Gravel Dash
29–30 May 2027 · Worth Matravers, Dorset, England
About
Dorset Gravel Dash returns to the Isle of Purbeck on 29–30 May 2027, offering a weekend of gravel riding and bikepacking through the countryside of Dorset in southern England.
Starting from the Square & Compass in Worth Matravers, the event takes riders across a varied landscape of gravel tracks, bridleways, singletrack, forestry roads and quiet country lanes.
The Gravel Dash is a non-timed, non-competitive adventure, designed around the enjoyment and challenge of exploring Dorset by bicycle rather than racing against the clock.
Three route options are available, including the two-day 50:50 bikepacking adventure, a longer one-day gravel challenge and a shorter 100 km ride.
The 50:50 option includes an overnight campsite, evening meal and breakfast, while the one-day challenges offer riders the opportunity to experience the Dorset landscape in a single outing.
All routes are self-navigated using GPX files supplied by the organiser, and riders should be prepared for varied terrain and changing weather conditions.
